My passion thrived from Visual Arts to Computer Science.

I am currently studying Architectural Science at TMU (formerly Ryerson). I am a passionate designer who finds immense joy in the art of crafting user experiences and shaping physical spaces. My exploration begins within Architecture where I was able to deepen my knowledge in understanding how people use and react to spaces.

I always had a strong passion for technology and the human interaction they have with it leading me to earn a certification in  Digital Marketing from Google and to work as a Research Assistant for the University of Toronto and TMU.

This led me on a path that looked at different ways to improve online performance and how individuals act around technology to improve designs and make content that would inspire others. At TMU working for the Faculty of Engineering (FEAS) as a UX Designer/Researcher through the use of Adobe Experience Manager and Figma, taught me how to balance business goals and engineering constraints as I created content for rebranding TMU's website and social presence.

Recently, through my education and experience, I have always been passionate about creating designs and integrating them into core offerings such as Social Media Engagement and creating a positive change leading to my current project @le.dwg which is an art account to make other's day through my drawings.

Approach:

Research

Developing information on what is needed for the current project or site can allow me to understand how individuals are using the current programs. This helps curate an idea and what is necessary for the individuals that are using the product.

Iteration

To create effective designs, it's important to understand the needs, goals, and behaviors of the target audience. This can be achieved through user research and testing, which can uncover insights about user preferences and pain points. Once this information is gathered, designers can create wireframes and prototypes to iterate and refine the design.

Design Direction

To develop an effective art direction, it's important to understand the brand's essence, its target audience, and the intended message. This can be achieved through research and analysis, which can uncover insights about the brand's history, values, and cultural context. Once this information is gathered, designers can create a visual strategy that defines the art direction, including elements such as color palettes, typography, imagery, and tone of voice.
